Attention: Yearbook Information
First, if you have not done so already, this is the last chance to purchase your 2010 yearbook for the LOW price of $65 with FREE name imprinting. In December, the price goes up to $70, and name imprinting is ONLY available to seniors, and for a fee. You may send your payment in to the high school, or you may pay directly online at jostensyearbooks.com.

Second, if your child has NOT had his or her portrait taken at Repash studios, a 2 ¼" X 3 ¼" photo MUST be submitted to us no later than November 25th. Failure to meet this deadline puts your child at risk of not having his/her photo appear with the other seniors.

Third, Parent Ad space is still available for purchase. Please send in your ad information and payment by November 25th if you would like to congratulate your senior for his/her great accomplishment in print! Contact Ms. Kowalcyk for more information..

Lastly, the yearbook staff is asking for one of your child’s toddler photos for the Senior Toddler section of the yearbook. Please send in a toddler photo labeled with your child’s name and whether you would like it returned.

If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Kowalcyk, the high school yearbook adviser, at maya.kowalcyk@svpanthers.org. Thank you for your time.

Career and College Resource Room (CCRR)

The Counseling Department is thrilled to announce the opening of our new Career and College Resource Room (CCRR).

Located in room 116.

It is available to all students from 2:30 to 3:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The counselors will take turns staffing the room so there is always someone available for assistance.

Visit our resource room for help in navigating the college application process.  Seniors we have everything you need to help with college applications, financial aid and scholarship and SAT/ACT testing.  Juniors we can help you do college searches and give you advice on the college exploration experience ahead of you.  Freshmen and sophomores we have many career resources to help you find everything you need to know to make informed choices about your future.  If you are planning on the military or going right to work we have resources to help you get information and assistance in meeting your career goals.

The counselors have already introduced our seniors to the CCRR in small groups and we are currently seeing freshmen students in small groups to familiarize them with the resources available.  As we see the juniors through the winter and sophomores in the spring they will also be exposed to the CCRR.

Please contact Patti Farrell, Grant Geiger or Janice Kimenhour with any questions regarding the CCRR.
